When we were ready to downsize to a smaller home, we spent a lot of time looking for one in the same area. Aquavista Lane, an Ariana Development, met many of our requirements; in our area, still close to family and friends, nice view of Morris Lake, quiet dead-end street and quite nice homes. The general contract manager and his staff were very accommodating of our customization requests. As a result we are pleased with our new home in a condominium setting. My husband and I were entering a new phase in our lives. We had a two story house that we used maybe 20% of the rooms. Our eldest daughter had moved out and our youngest, at 15 years old, was accepted at a prep school, so would be away 10 months of the year. It was time to make a major change in our lives- like so many couples our age. The problem was, where to move to. We were not ready to move to a condo, and wanted something that was modern, and relatively new. We must have viewed at least 20 to 30 properties, but nothing was what we were looking for. We had looked at Aquavista Lane several times, and realized there really was nothing like it out on the market. We are living in a beautiful open concept bungalow condominium, that has everything we could want. The tall ceilings and beautiful trim really add to the decor. The fact that we are on a private lane is very nice, not to mention the fact that the lawn maintance, snow removal and water fees are all taken care of all adds to the plus of living here. We are so happy to have found a home that we can live in now and in our retirement. Ariana is a wonderful company to deal with! The Right Decision The decision to move to Parkwood Ridge was a great one. We moved into our unit in July of 2012. We love the layout and are especially appreciative of the large amount of storage space. We also enjoy being on the natural gas line and besides heat and hot water, we have installed a natural gas stove, fireplace and BBQ. The house is also very quiet with no sound penetration between units. Perhaps more importantly, we have made new friends with all the new owners in the Parkwood Ridge Condominium Project. All the owners are anxious to make this a special community and are consciences about the quality of the project and related services. The owners are well organized administratively and socially with numerous social events throughout the year. The neighbours look out for each other and there is a feeling of caring and good will. We are extremely pleased with our move to Parkwood Ridge condos in Bedford. The layout of our home is exactly what we wanted. We have had some unanticipated challenges but Ariana has seen them through to a successful conclusion under the guidance of Nikki Jafari making us very happy owners.
